They sent me a task that consisted of analysing a set of data and building a report. After that, I was invited to do a presentation about it. I was first interviewed by two men that worked directly in that area. The interview was incredibly unpleasant. They would make questions of subjects I had no previous experience on, and when I said that I did not have that knowledge, they would just keep digging and being ruder each time. They would also make binaries questions, looking for a one-word answer, and pushing to a very awkward position, until I just didn't care anymore because those two men look impossible to work with. It was a very junior role, so it seems absurd the kind of knowledge they were looking for. But it wasn't much about the difficulty of the questions, but about the way that they were expressing themselves, and how rude and pushing they were. I felt so awkward and mistreated I started just to run blank. When I was trying to do the presentation, they would interrupt me constantly, making me feel uncomfortable. I get that you might want to push people a bit in an interview to see how they would react, but this was way ahead of the point. I couldn't finish one sentence without being interrupted. And they also were interrupting each other, and they seem not to like each other very much. After that, I was interview by a woman who was the head of the team. That part of the interview worked well, she was easy to talk to and I felt that I could begin to express myself at that point. This was two months ago, and I see they keep publishing the same role, so they didn't have found a fitting profile yet. Which only seems logical, as they were mistreating their candidates.
