Interview
The interview process here was truly heinous. For me it went on roughly 4 months. I had to do an assignment before even having a first interview. Just a bunch of hoops and ladders to go through, with a lot of incomplete information. There was completely different information fed to different candidates, which was all quite shady and misleading. In the end they didn't fill the role. I'm pretty sure they went through the process just to use candidate's ideas.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Bumble Inc.
Interview
Ironically, I was ghosted by Bumble.
One of the more frustrating interview process I've ever gone through.
Recruiter reached out to me via Linked In in May 2022. I did not apply for a role.
Met with a VP who subsequently referred me to another VP as it was assessed that I was a better fit for their organisation. This new VP liked me and arranged a group interview with his directs. At the end of the interview, the VP informed me that he decided I should meet with his leader as I could potentially have a place on her team.
Recruiter followed up with me via email to confirm the same message and they would let me know of next steps. I sent an email follow-up after not hearing back for over a week. Another two weeks of no response so I sent another email to the recruiter asking for an update and feedback on the interviews. And indicated to her that no response would mean that I was essentially ghosted by them.
Recruiter responded and informed me that I was not being ghosted and they were actually trying to get the role approved. I asked for a copy of the job description as I had yet to receive any description of the role that they had in mind for me. She informed that the delay in further information was due to approval of the role but she would keep me posted on job description.
5 weeks later, I have yet to receive any follow-up from the recruiter. No job description, no status update.
I can only surmise that since they have not bothered to keep me posted with updates indicates no desire to 'keep me warm' nor ensure any interest in me joining the org. Which is fine but an email to circle back and properly close out the process would've been preferred.
Recruiters are the first faces of the business and this unprofessional approach is an indication of the culture of the organisation. That just validates that this is not a company I would like to be employed by.
