The entire process took over 3 months and during that time, there were several moments of silence from the company, even after I reached out asking for feedback. Some highlights: - During a call with 2 of their senior leaders, one of them was late to the call, and the other had actually no idea if this person would be showing up or not. They did eventually show up, and (I kid you not), during the call, this person muted themselves and answered their cell phone while I was in the middle of answering one of their question. Very uncomfortable and awkward situation to be in for a candidate. - There was a clear power-struggle between these 2 senior leaders. One said it was a flat company, and the other (more senior person) immediately jumped in to layout how the hierarchy was (who reported to who, etc.). Major red flag. - I was told I had not made it to the next stage, and a couple of days later told that, actually, they had misread the interviewer's comments and I was advancing. - 2-3 weeks after my last interview, I was told (by someone I had never interacted with) that I had unfortunately not been selected. A few days later, my original recruiter contacts me to tell me the same thing (very poor communication between themselves). Overall, an extremely sloppy and unprofessional candidate experience. One of the worse I've had, and ironic that it comes from a company that is supposed to be all about relationship-building.
