I applied online and a day later received a call from the manager who asked me if I had ever work at a fast food place before, I hadn't I worked at outback steakhouse but it wasn't a fast food place. Anyway he scheduled me for an interview the next morning. I went in he asked me a few questions about myself, if I attend school, where I live, stuff like that. He basically told me about the requirements for working there and the type of people they were looking for.

The hiring manager will ask you several calculation questions to make sure you can do basic math, the kind of stuff you see on online applications. For example, if a customer orders 15 dollars worth of food and they give you a 20 dollar bill, how much change do you give them.
