I originally applied for a Manager, Sales Planning role back in April 2019. One of the employees at BDG immediately reached out within a few days to connect and chat about the opportunity. We scheduled a preliminary phone interview which went really well. A week and a half later, I had to reach out and see if there were any actual next steps because I was told an in-person interview would soon follow. I was then asked to complete a media/sales planning quiz. I submitted it and reach out several days later to find out if I was still being considered for the role or not - never heard back and never received feedback! All of this occurred in May. I later connected with someone else who works at BDG in June and she connected me with someone on the Account Management team. We had another preliminary chat and I was told that they were working on filling a few positions and that I would hear back regarding next steps. Two weeks later I heard back and was invited to meet with several team members in late June. The in-person interview went really well but I never received any feedback nor next steps. I also never heard back from the person I spoke on the phone with. Again, no communication from the company at all ... When I visited the office, I definitely noticed there was a specific group of people who worked there - they fit a certain look, spoke a certain way, and dressed a certain way. It occurred to me that there was an obvious lack of diversity. I call it how I see it! It's amazing to me that a company would waste a potential candidate's time especially by not providing feedback or even a rejection for that matter. I'm confident that I was very much qualified for the role.

I applied for the role on linkedin! I had 5 rounds of interviews, HR was very communicative overall! The process was very smooth and I ended up accepting the role. Would recommend to a friend
