I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at C2 Education (McLean, VA) in Jun 2018

      Interview

I applied for this position a couple months back and received a call to come in for an interview within a week. Upon arriving, the area seemed very clean and the atmosphere was kind of laid back. I arrived super early so I was waiting around and a kind girl gave me a tour of the place and ran over what her day looked like as the front desk receptionist. The director finally called me into her office and she was very professional and courteous. Upon sitting down, she asked me the regular questions: what is your background, how did you find out about us, what is your experience in education, etc. What she said next blew me: "I can see you growing with the company and within a year I see you becoming director of this office". The word "director" rang in my ears as I thought of what I can do with that title but then I realized why they would throw the word director around to someone who is fresh out of graduate school and hasn't had any experience except in the classroom. It all seemed too quick and fishy. She told me someone above her (in title) would give me a call for another interview but here comes Monday morning and I get a voicemail saying I got the job offer and I start immediately. She gave me my hours and everything. I was taken aback and thought I was supposed to have the second portion of the interview. It didn't seem like it was the job for me and I got weird vibes from the place and people so I politely declined. They never called back or confirmed, or even gave me two words to say "I'm sorry you didn't take the job with us" etc. The process was completely bogus, unprofessional, and I would NOT recommend taking the job with these people.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at C2 Education (Glen Ellyn, IL)

      Interview

I had originally applied to be a tutor at one center, but things didn't work out. After about two weeks, I was contacted about my application and if I was interested in interviewing for a Part Time - Assistant Director at another center nearby. I met with the Director during an off-peak time for about an hour. It was a pleasant interview, the Director was nice in answering my questions and showing me around. Typical questions: "Why C2 Education?", "What would you do if..?" Everything went well, but the Director later called and informed me that my availability was an issue and that my application would be kept in case another opportunity came along.
