I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CA Technologies (Hyderābād) in Jun 2009
Interview
1 phone round with short questions on all aspects of the technologies i had worked on. Went on for an hour or so. Though most things were tested superficially, a couple of fields were tested in depth.
The next round was a discussion with 2 managers (one of them my reporting mgr). This was about the domain i am good in. All of it technical. A couple of puzzles were also asked.
The third round was really long. This was the Director round and it went on for 2 hours. I was asked to write code on a piece of paper. Syntax checking wasnt a priority as much as the technical depth of my knowledge on that topic. Tougher puzzles were asked. Overall it was grilling, but i could feel the challenge. Enjoyed it.
