A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and we had a preliminary phone interview and then an in person interview. During the in-person interview, everyone was very professional and the organization appeared to have a very positive work environment. It was important to them to have a good operational fit as well as having the competency to do the job. I was on the fence regarding this position at the outset and it came through during the interview. They asked me about this and we had an open conversation. While they decided to go with another candidate, it was probably for the best for both Carfax and me. Regardless, I left with a positive impression of the company.

After an initial phone screen with the HR recruiter, I was brought in for in-person interviews with the VP and several key directors. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and both HR and the hiring manager were very transparent about the process at CARFAX, next steps, etc. I was contacted within the time frames stated for status updates, and I felt informed throughout the process.
