I hesitated to write this review but I think it’s important for people to know and be cautious when interviewing with this company.
I had phone interview with company recruiter who then set up Skype interview with hiring manager. The interview went fine although I wasn’t getting a friendly feeling from the manager and assumed it would go nowhere. This manager then called a professional acquaintance we shared immediately after interview to ask about me putting me in jeopardy at my current job that I was looking for new employment, this after she talked about how important “integrity” was to her, imagine my shock and surprise. HR then gave an excuse to try and cover this up as a misunderstanding, there was no misunderstanding, this is beyond unethical and extremely unprofessional. I did not give permission for manager to call this acquaintance, in fact I even said “please don’t contact” but she did anyway. I consider it a blessing as I may have dodged a huge bullet by going to work for this company and this manager. I told recruiter I was not interested in working for this manager so no offer was made as I removed myself from the opportunity.

Please know this is not standard practice during the interview process and we addressed your concern with the manager when you brought it to our attention. We have also taken steps to ensure other hiring managers know how we check references.
