Interview
Extremely pleasant experience interviewing with Carfax. Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone screening. The next day I spoke with the hiring manager to learn more about the position. Not too long after I was brought onsite for a full day of interviews with team members of various roles. Overall the timeline took a little less than a month due to scheduling.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CARFAX (London, ON) in Jul 2024
Interview
Upon applying with my cv (resume and cover letter), I was reached out to via email by a hiring manager/consultant and contacted for a quick phone call from there. The phone call was to set some high level expectations for the role, and to gauge my interest.
From there, I met with the hiring manager for 30 minutes (who would be my manager should I get the role). This is where I was asked more general questions about myself and how I view project management. Mainly the questions were around: strengths, conflict management, project process, etc.
After that, I met with a Project and Product Manager who were employed by CARFAX. This is where I described in more detail my experiences in project management. Ie. what I have done in the past, the types of projects, how I managed them, etc.
After those two calls, a decision was made and I was contacted by phone with an offer.
