I applied online and received an email to schedule a phone interview about five days later. The phone interview went over my resume and what Carvana is all about. I was asked to set up a in person interview a week later and spoke to several people at Carvana HQ. I don't want to bore you with the details, the interview process was very straightforward and overall Carvana made an extra effort to make me comfortable. I got the impression that one department doesn't know what the others are doing leading to confusion and mixed messages to an applicant. The company is growing fast and there is plenty of work to be had, but even if I was offered the position I do not think I would have been a good fit and would've turned them down.
