I was initially contacted by a recruiter via email, where we then set up a date for the first phone interview. The recruiter was very professional but also had a sense of humor as well. When we wrapped up the initial interview, which lasted no more than 15 minutes, she implied that I had all the experience Carvana was "looking for" plus more. She told me she would send her notes of the interview along to her regional manager for a follow up interview. She also told me I would receive an email no later than 24 hours after our initial conversation even if they chose not to proceed with me containing a "yes" or "no" explanation... It has now been over 90 hours with no follow up email. I reached back out to the recruiter via email about receiving the "yes" or "no" follow up. Still no word.
This was overall a very disappointing interview process, especially when you leave potential prospects in limbo. Heck, even a competitor emailed me back with a response the same day. Apparently Carvana isn't up to those standards yet.

Interview
Contacted via text on the interview process, and information was not clear on the interview process. Was not sure whom I was texting, and when I asked for a name, the individual did not provide a name so assumed I was texting chatbots. Texts claimed I would be interviewing in person with 2 hiring managers, however, after the interview ended with the 2 hiring managers ended up interviewing a separate time with higher-ups with a total of 4 people and for a total of an hour for the combined two interviews. Maybe this process didn't apply to everyone, but I did not appreciate the under-communication.

Straight forward, use STAR to answer any questions and be yourself. They basically ask about previous customer service experience and how you handle different situations. This position is on the road driving a truck so make sure you are comfortable with that.

Quick and Easy! The process took 2 weeks which was great! Interviewing should not take more then that as some companies will go as long as 2 months. Very happy with the process.
