      Process Engineer Interview

      Jun 4, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

      I interviewed at CCL Industries

      Interview

I found, and applied, to the job posting on my school's hiring website. I was initially contacted by the HR assistant and asked when I was available to interview for the position. When I arrived, I was greeted at the front desk and taken to a meeting room by the building Engineer. We spoke about my resume, what the job would intell, and I was given a tour of the facility. Afterwards I meet with the HR manager. While the Engineer inquired more into my technical knowledge, HR was more relaxed and wanted to gather how I was as a person and how I would fit socially into the current facility dynamic. Overall, my initial impressions were that everyone seemed very friendly, and the facility was extremely clean and organized to be a manufacturing facility.

      Question 4

      HR: Tell me about yourself?
      Answer question

      Question 5

HR questions were of the basic variety. I found that the best strategy was to take their questions and turn them into a conversation where the interviewer was also answering questions.

      Process Engineer Interview

      Oct 13, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CCL Industries in Sep 2020

      Interview

They first conducted a 30 minute "tele-conversation." This was followed by a dinner interview a couple weeks later. I drove over three hours to get to the dinner interview. After we sat down, they told me that they had already offered the position to someone else and that person had accepted. They talked about other positions available within the company. The next week, I had an interview at the plant for a different position and got a tour of the facility. I was offered a position and accepted. A week after I put my two weeks in with my current employer, they rescinded the offer and I no longer have a job.
