The process started out with a quick survey of my past experience sent to me by a recruiter. Questions were typical and should only take 10 minutes or so to complete. Within a day or so, I was contacted by the recruiter to set up a video interview with the hiring manager. Overall set up was quick and easy. Make sure to do your homework on the company, but that goes without saying! The interview with the hiring manager consisted of the usual behavioral questions along with a more in depth look at my experience and the role itself. Overall, it was a pleasant conversation as the manager was very personable and down-to-earth. I came away from this interview very impressed by the company's history, culture, product, and future. It's a small company with big-time capabilities. Next, I was scheduled for an interview with the head of the engineering department. The set up here was quick as well. The interview provided more information about the current and future projects in the pipeline along with confirmation of the great culture that's been built at CIC Plus. Again, the interview was more conversational, and I found even more evidence of cool and smart people creating a great place to work! I came away from this experience thoroughly impressed by the company and the people within it. CIC Plus has and will continue to do great things in the industry! Any candidate fortunate enough to interview with them will be spoiled for any future interview processes. I hope to cross paths with CIC Plus again in the future!
