They will contact your current employer without letting you know, very unprofessional. Set expectations that this process would take a little over a month, didn't get an offer until almost 4 months. Every time it seemed like it was the last round, they would set up another round with someone who never seemed interested and was never prepared for the interview. Also found out through grapevine their work/life balance is more akin to a sweat shop. Plus, the company isn't doing too well right now so was an easy decline.
