CKM Analytix Data Science interview questions

First round was 2 Skype interviews of 30 minutes each with current Data Scientists working there. Went over my resume and some case study questions to see how I would approach a problem. I was then sent a data science challenge which was quite fun to work on and was given a week to complete it. After submitting my results, on-site interview with 3 rounds: 2 data scientists, one director, and the managing partner/CEO. The first round was a defense of my challenge submission and speculation on future analysis. Second round was a whiteboard session with a director. Third round was review of resume and another case study with the managing partner. First two rounds were very polite, professional, and friendly. Managing partner was a different story entirely. Incredibly rude, condescending and seemed to dislike me for some reason. I initially thought that this round was more of a stress test to see how I react in high-pressure situations where my thought process is challenged (which I don't mind at all), but some of his comments veered into outright personal insults. Unsurprisingly, was not extended an offer. This was a strange process overall. Everyone but the managing partner was very professional and kind. Seemed like talented people that are easy to get along with. To go from that to a partner that seemed hell-bent on finding reasons not to hire me was disorienting, to say the least. That might be their goal: to test your reactions under pressure. But again, I'm fine with that and it's a reasonable thing to assess a candidate's ability to think on their feet in an unfriendly environment. The partner was blunt but I don't mind that either, it's a refreshing change of pace from the BS that pervades the job search. However, I strongly detest being subjected to what I felt were character attacks leveled in my direction.

Recruiter phone call, on site for a 1 hour interview, take home data challenge and then 2.5 hour on site to present data challenge findings and more. They're not a data science company since most of their so called data scientists don't even have a technical background. Most of them have an arts background and can write a couple of lines of code on Python. Additionally, their work is mostly focused on servicing call centres which is not exciting.
