I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CNA (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Initial chat with recruiter on phone. Simple and easy-going. Final round in Chicago headquarters, with three thirty-minute interviews. Some behavioral questions, but a lot of talking about the job. Bring questions to ask!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CNA (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I applied through linkedin and was surprised to actually hear back from them. I went through 2 phone interview rounds and then 3 back to back interviews at their Chicago office. The interviewers were personable and easy going which is refreshing for an insurance company. Overall, the company seemed to be focused on re-developing their IT department which I liked. However, I ended up declining to accept a different offer. On a side note, CNA will preform drug tests and background checks on candidates (understandable for an insurance firm).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were interested in my leadership style and how I've worked in group settings. They also wanted to know what drives me and why tech is a passion of mine.
