Interview
The process took around 3 weeks. The first round was a phone call with the manager and followed up with a take-home assessment. The take-home assessment was about some data cleaning and answering some questions. I got the onsite invitation on the same day when I submitted my take-home screen. The onsite interview had 5 rounds with the rest of the team. The interviewers were welcoming and I knew they enjoyed working at here. Two days later, I got rejection through an email.

Interview
Largely behavioral interview. Hiring manager was looking for consulting/banking type background employees who could learn things quickly, deal with ambiguity, and produce solid, accurate deliverables under tight deadline.
Much less focus on a candidates skills and more on fit with the role/culture and potential to grow.
The good thing about interviews with startups is that they're always a 2 way street.
