There were two interviewers: the regional director and an specialist of the area of expertise. The regional director didn't have a clue why they were hiring me, it looked like he was there because someone told him to be. He started mentioning all the things COWI does, none of them have to do anything with my experience. I was about to ask why they did call me when the other person (interestingly he left the company a few months later) intervened and clarified that they did have something for me. Anything that isn't tunnels, bridges, structures or maybe geotechnical engineering is pointless for him.
