      Test Manager Interview

      May 29, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at COWI in May 2025

      Interview

Two interviewers. First the good cop gave an introduction to the company, and after that they wanted to do a 40 seconds introduction of all of us. After that bad cop started reading scenarios of about five sentences each like those you would normally get in those multiple choice certification exams. Speed was above average, and really difficult to follow. Hard to understand what he actually wanted to ask as he often asked multiple questions at once. Then after getting an answer he gave his own "right" answer. Seemed very arrogant and condescending. He was like Robocop or a weird Terminator type, and the situation felt absurd. I strongly considered half way through if I should just end it as I wouldn't be able to work with that type of guy. He would never respect other viewpoints than his own. I kindly withdrew my candidacy a few hours after the interview.

      Question 1

What is you experience with communication, data, test automation, people management, stakeholders (and probably other things I don't remember)... ...all in the same question.
