I was contacted a few days after applying to the position online to complete an assessment with a first screener interview with HR. As I was in the final stages with a few other interviews, I agreed to keep the conversation of employment open. I interviewed with the hiring manager(s) and was immediately scheduled for what I thought was a final interview or potentially an offer . I was surprised when I was contacted by another individual in HR with similar screener questions as my first contact with HR. I answered these and had a wonderful conversation. I was told that I would be contacted the following monday or tuesday. That week I had a few offers come in and so I called the HR person who I had interviewed with the first time and left a message. I did not receive a call back. I accepted an offer elsewhere. Overall the questions and interviews were welcoming warm and interesting. I have rated this as a negative experience because I was "ghosted" by this potential opportunity.
