The interview process is extremely slow - three months - and the interviewers seemed to spend a lot of time talking about office politics, inside jokes, their egos, achievements and connections during my interviews. It seemed like they didn't read my resume or cover letter prior to the interviews or consider my attitude and potential during the interviews. They seemed confused/threatened when I mentioned I was taking on and completing work beyond my normal responsibilities at my current role and helping push innovative programs. The prospect applying again in the hope of having great pay, benefits and important work for the community is not worth the nonsense I endured to make it to the final round of three interviews. It wasn't that hard to get interviews with CPS. I didn't feel respected during them.
