Not sure I have much good to say about CRB's style. I applied for a position and an HR Rep called me to set something up. Went to the interview but the guy who set it up wasn't present. OK. I interviewed with a couple of very nice gentlemen; one was a VP up from I believe their St. Louis headquarters. I thought it went well. Didn't hear back even though I penned follow up letters to all 3 I had contact with. Time went on. I finally tracked down the HR contact who told me he had been unceremoniously fired after some sort of unexpected re-organization. (guess that explained why he wasn't returning my calls!!!). Never heard back from either of the other two. I finally sent a 'personal' email to the employee whom I would have reported directly to had I been hired. We had a very nice phone conversation. But he sounded frustrated and indicated that while he liked my experience as well as how I represented myself, he suggested management seemed a little too unorganized to make a decision. OK. Hey -- I'm a big boy -- if I was not qualified for the slot, fine, have the decency to tell me you went in a different direction. Likewise, if I was over-qualified, be professional and tell me that too. Did I ask for too much money? Ditto. To let potential candidates hang after they took vacation time to come down to maybe help better your organinzation is rude, unprofessional and just plain wrong. I'm not sure, but I don't think they ever did hire anyone to help ease the workload of the gentleman I eventually spoke with. That, too, is wrong. So I'm not altogether sure I would have enjoyed working there anyway.
