      Interview

Very informal. I suppose it will differ by site. Mostly concerned availability and any past research experience. I found my interviewer to be very easy going and enjoyed the process.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CVS Health

      Interview

I filled out CVS application online. It was super long and took two hours to complete. It consists of basic information, 25 scenario questions, 15 pages of personality questions, questions having to do with counting and correcting receipts and lastly, a brief overview of cashier responsibilities. I specifically applied to the new CVS that is currently under construction. The application took two hours to complete. A week later, I received an email asking if I am interested in getting an interview. I had a phone screening with a representative before receiving an interview day. She basically asked me if I applied for the cashier/clerk position, then scheduled me for an interview day and time. She asked that I dress professionally. The interview took place in a CVS that was different than the one I applied to. After he asked me a couple of questions, he asked for my time of availability. He also asked if I would like to send my resumes to other locations besides the one I applied to. I said yes. He then proceeded to send my resumes to other locations. He warned me that if I receive a phone call from CVS, I would work the following day. I asked about the hourly wage. He said it varies depending on how much experience one has. The next day, I received a phone call saying I am offered a cashier position at the new CVS. She also told me I will start my employment in two weeks. I filled out an application for a background check and was told I will be again contacted in a few days. She also mentioned because the new CVS didn't open yet, I will receive training at a different location.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interviewer asked me frequently asked interview questions. The ones I remember him asking... Why do you want to work here? How do you define success? What does customer service mean to you? You are helping out a customer while another customer asks you for a particular item. What would you do? What other businesses do you like other than CVS? Why?
