I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at CVS Health (Rochester, NY) in Jun 2013
Interview
It was the worst! I went there and waited for the interviewer forever. It ended up being that the manager was not there! Why schedule me on a day that the manager was not going to be there! The assistant manager interviewed me instead! I got a call back maybe a few days later for another interview. I was thinking hmm a second interview means I am in the running but no! they only called me back to interview again with the manager! what a waste of my time. if you didn't want me then don't call me for a second interview! the manager was not very friendly and doubted me. I ended up getting a cashier job somewhere else and was not doubted. I did so good. so, cvs missed out on a good worker. this experience was the worst and I will never EVER apply again! The interview was normal.
Very informal. I suppose it will differ by site. Mostly concerned availability and any past research experience. I found my interviewer to be very easy going and enjoyed the process.

I applied online. Got an interview within 2-3 weeks. Got hired the next 2 days. It was a very laid back interview and more conversation like. The manager looked at my resume and asked me about my customer service experience.
