I applied back in April and got a call in June to go in for an interview. The manager was pretty set on me and the interview was more about him letting me know what to expect of the job instead of asking the usual situational questions and personality probes. We ended up speaking for an hour. A few days later, I was offered the job and I accepted. The hiring process is now done through a third party so it gets extremely slow and painful from then on. I completed my drug screening and then started onboarding paperwork (online) a week later. It then took about another week to schedule my first training class which will take place in a store that is an hour away.
