I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CVS Health (Winchester, KY) in Jun 2015
Interview
I was asked to interview at 8am which was the time store opened. Being punctual by nature, I arrived 15 min early and stood outside the store while employees filed in. My first impression was that none of them looked particularly happy.
At 5 min past 8am, the door was opened to let customers in (so I had waited 20 min by this
point & was officially 5 min late to my interview). I walked briskly to the back where I was to meet the interviewer (the head pharmacist) but there was already a line of customers. I waited in line. He saw me (I assume that being dressed for the interview made me stand out) and said he would be with me shortly. I stepped out of line and stood aside (but in the pharmacists line of vision) and waited patiently.
Once the customers had been helped I was greeted and walked to the back for my interview. The back was a mess. It was dark and there was natural light. It felt vey oppressive.
The interview itself went well, and I feel I nailed it. However once the pharmacist told me hours would be 16 hrs p/wk, only on the weekends, I was pretty astounded. He explained that weekends are the busiest and that's the only time he needed someone.
My husband works weekends. So I knew immediately this position was not a good fit.
In retrospect, the solemn environment, the high stress of the environment, low hours and low pay sealed the deal for me.

I applied online on their official website. Pharmacy manager reached out to me about two weeks after. They ask basic questions such as tell me about your self and something related with teamwork.
For my interview it was a phone interview only. The manager asked very simple questions. Their main concern was if I could do basic math and even asked me a couple questions on the spot.
