I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CVS Health (Yorba Linda, CA) in Oct 2023
Interview
I applied on Indeed. I heard back from the hiring manager a couple days later, also via Indeed. We scheduled an interview for the following week. In general, the questions are like any basic interview. There were so many positive reviews about CVS interviews, so I'm guessing mine is just an outlier. I arrived at the location and let an employee know I was there for an interview. He informed me that the manager would be with me shortly. When he did arrive, I introduced myself, but he did not introduce himself to me. The only reason I knew his name is because the employee said it when I first arrived. I was brought back to an office for the interview. He barely made any eye contact with me. He seemed disinterested. Sometimes when I was answering the his questions, he'd look at his phone while I answered. People were coming in and out of the office during the interview, which was very distracting. He ended up bringing me into the hallway outside to continue asking questions. Then someone nearby offered to let us use their office, so we continued the interview in there. He interrupted me quite a few times. I don't think this experience is a reflection of the company, I just think it's this specific manager. He seemed like someone who isn't socially aware, which is frustrating because anyone conducting interviews should be the complete opposite of that. I turned down the job for multiple reasons, one of the reasons being how disorganized the whole interview was.
