Retail Strategy Operations Corporate Intern Interview

      Mar 24, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Atlanta, GA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at CVS Health (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2024

      Interview

Contacted by a recruiter regarding the role. Applied online and the system immediately prompted that I complete a required task/assessment. Approximately 5 months later, I received an email from the University Corporate Relations team, an invitation to complete a virtual interview via HireVue (all behavioral questions). 1 month after, received an email invite from the same team, for a 45-minute, 1:1 interview via teams. Interviewer was professional, personable, and exceptionally receptive to all behavioral question responses. Aprox 2 hours later, received email from same team, inviting to complete the final interview which was also a 45-minute 1:1 interview encompassing cultural fit questions. Approximately 1 calendar week later, received a phone call (left a voicemail) from the same team- and having returned the call, shared that an offer was being extended. The team member followed-up with an email, of the informal offer notification, requesting a response of acceptance or denial. Responded with acceptance within the disclosed time frame and received an additional follow-up email with look ahead details. - The 2nd interview was all behavioral questions, as previously disclosed. There was 1 question (final) that presented a hypothetical business scenario. It was structured to allow me to breakdown how I would approach, rationale, resource, collaborate etc. the hypothetical scenario. Interviewer shared that I was able to ask additional questions to aid me in my response and encouraged conversation. - Final (3rd interview) was equally intriguing; allowing me to articulate who I am beyond what my resume entails. The interviewer was gracious enough to preface the interview, having shared that. This allowed me to tailor my responses accurately and genuinely as to align with the current and future state of CVS Health’s mission/goals/initiatives.
