I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cactus Club Cafe (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2016
Interview
really informal, just asked me about myself, really laidback genuine guy who just wanted to get to know me. Sat down for about 15 minutes and got hired on the spot. explained very clearly how everything works and how to move up to become a server. Didnt look to closely at my resume but asked questions about the places i had previously woked at.
Video interview of 4 questions could retake answers and it was fairly straightforward. Asked common questions related to highlighting your strengths (I think 3 strengths). And i haven’t heard back yet
I applied online. I interviewed at Cactus Club Cafe in Jun 2026
Interview
getting through the video interview was okay, but the actual interview was pretty difficult. For a host job, i dont think it deserves that many interview steps. literally over like 3 steps to be finalized

Question 1
beware of a question like "if you were hired tomorrow, what steps would u take to fit in with the rest of the coworkers."
They have a weird process where you go through many levels of interviews and I feel like they just hire you if you’re hot so idk if I would really recommend that atmosphere
