before being interviewed by the sous chef, i sat for a good 10 minutes and i figured he was reading my resume and i saw him typing on a computer possibly checking the credibility of my resume. the sous chef didnt really ask lots of technical questions, it was more of basic questions regarding my study, interest, and hobby

Smooth and friendly. It's just like any other interviews out there. Nothing extra ordinary to deal with. Just show up. Be real and all will be good. And if you're good at your job you'll most likely get hired.
No interview needed, it was only a 5 minutes online chat via google meets, the manager was very friendly and was only worried about when I could start and what hours I could work, it looks like he needed a lot of coverage

Extremely simple interview because they are desperate for employees. The most important thing they want to know is if they will get along with you amid the mess the kitchen is and everybody is very frustrated. If you really want this job, just smile and they will hire you.
