I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cactus Club Cafe (Richmond, BC) in Sep 2022
Interview
Went through 4 different interviews which is ridiculous for a minimum wage job for a restaurant that has a high turnover rate. It seems like they just hire throughout the year picking from a hat of potential servers who fall for the restaurant’s image of having reputable management. Management is disorganized and inconsiderate to their applicant’s personal time. Whole process including submitting resume on their website took about a month and a half. They do not let you know if they will proceed with your application. Much of the process was staggered and unreliable.
Online interview, virtual process with 4 questions to answer in video recording format. Gives you the option to re-record yourself if you go over the allotted time per question (2 minutes) or make a mistake.
