It was quick and comfortable. They were very friendly and did a great job explaining the role. They allowed me to talk about who I am and let me explain why I thought I was good for the role.

Interview
Great interview! Lasted about an hour discussing my background and the vision for the position. Very clear on the expectations of the position and what the current needs are for the ideal candidate. Was not selected for the position as they were looking for a preferred skill set for a project that another candidate had more experience with. However, overall interview experience was great and would recommend working for this company if you have the opportunity.

I interviewed at California Closets (Costa Mesa, CA)
Interview
It was a group interview of 6-8 and they warned us we were not competing against each other. The first interview was to see if we fit in culturally. They did a brief presentation of the company and had us tell the group what was our favorite activity. Then had us break into pairs...and interview each other! After that we presented our partner on why they would be a great fit for the company.
For a company that prides themselves on professionalism, that was the most immature and awkward thing I've ever done during an interview. How were they suppose to know if we were good candidate if they didn't even talk to us?
The whole thing lasted 20-30 minutes. Everyone was nice and friendly but after that I knew I didn't want to work for a company like that.
