Interview
There are a lot of hoops to jump through totaling a wait time of up to 5 months. There is no formal "interview" so to speak, they just dump you in an orientation in which you participate in a seminar about what the Corps ACTUALLY does, and they people you'll work with every day. Secondly, you'll have to attend their basic training called COMET which typically lasts 7-14 days depending on how the brass feels that day. Really, the only interview you do is literally about 5 minutes in which they ask you really dumb questions that any professional candidate would hopefully answer no to (I.E. Do you use drugs? Do you take any medications? Have you ever been arrested or on active probation/parole?) but trust me, people still get through that filter.

I was called by a local recruiter a couple times to confirm interest in the position, talked about transferring locations, second recruiter was quick to update. I had an "interview" via video with a staff member and several other candidates that was really more for our information about the position---staff did not ask any questions except about our legal eligibility for the program.
