They flew me to Sacramento for a five panel one hour interview. The questions were compound. The panel was friendly, I felt relaxed and confident . Each person would ask two or three questions that required summary answers. Because they looked and acted relaxed and friendly, it automatically caused me to remain poised and composed. I did not know any of the panel members. They were all female, which is unusual. When I needed time to compose a comprehensive answer I would say so. If I did not quite understand the answer I felt free to ask them to repeat it. I wore professional clothing, little make up and jewelry. I kept my hands folded in the desk and did not talk with my hands because I know some see that as a sign of in unintelligence and undereducated. I spoke slowly and deliberately and smiled when addressing the panel member . I remembered, also to shake hands firmly upon arrival and when leaving. I also remembered to memorize each name and to address them accordingly.
