First interview was with an HR representative who seemed disengaged and was all about asking canned questions like;
"How do you stay organized?"
"Why do you want to work for Callaway?"
"What's your ideal workplace?"
"Why do you think you're a good fit for this role?"
"What made you excited for this job?"
She never followed up on any questions and seemed bored the whole time. After answering all of that, I was presented with a second interview. The HR Rep screwed me up for the second interview by mentioning, "Let's shoot for Wednesday, 7/22/25" (in which 7/22/25 was a Tuesday). I had planned on going over some projects to review in my head during Tuesday evening, since I thought it was on Wednesday without checking the exact date in advance. Luckly, my e-mail sent a notification to my phone reminding me about it, which completely caught me off-guard.
Now came the second interview 30 mins after being caught off-guard. The entire interview was about projects I've done, which I was able to jumble together, even after I was going to review those projects that evening. I thought the second interview went fairly well, despite the circumstances - and I was rejected a couple days later with some non-personalized, automated rejection e-mail from Workforce.
Callaway's HR department needs to be audited. Their employees seem completely unprofessional, sloppy and disengaged from the hiring process.
