I applied online and was emailed by People Ops about two weeks later to set up a phone screen. Mostly we just discussed my resume and a few interests, it was very pleasant and informal. About a week after that I was invited to have an onsite interview. The interview itself was even more laid back, I could really tell that it was important that I feel welcome and comfortable. The interview really just felt like a conversation, and it was mostly discussing culture and career goals. At no point did I feel any real pressure or stress to answer a question "correctly" like a regular interview. It was about three weeks before I heard back, they decided to pass on me due to having less experience/education. It's clear the competition was steep! Overall it was a great experience, I wish more companies would take this more relaxed approach to interviews. It makes a great impression and shows a real commitment to culture, not just performance.
