I don't know if he didn't like my face or was threatened by me or any reason but he didn't smile once while everyone else in the room was laughing and smiling . I came in, literally with a theoretical design of a highly scalable architecture that's cloud based. Their data set is extremely small so the relational thing does make sense here. But the title is data warehouse engineer (which could be arbitrated to infinite) , not relational database engineer. I do believe they are looking for a sql admin or ' someone who is slick with tables and schema.' Not someone who can lay out and build a malleable end-to-end architecture. I may be wrong, but this is what my instinct says. Lastly, I arrived not knowing much about CampusLogic, but I left that day very much wanting to work there. The person in charge of the candidate HR process is a company treasure, and I especially wanted to work for the VP of Engineering after chatting with him. So, serious congrats to the engineer that got the role. They will probably be very happy!
