All told, I completed the written interview, a coding test, a behavior test, a cognitive agility test, and seven face-to-face interviews. From when I first sent in my application to when I got the offer, the process took ~4.5 months.
Despite its unusual length, I enjoyed the whole process. Because of its rather involved and prolonged nature, I felt like I really got a chance to show who I am, what I know, and what I can do. This is the first interviewing process in my life where I feel like I can say that. Also in the face-to-face interviews, I got to know a wide variety of employees and was very impressed with who I met. The opportunity to ask questions of people in different roles, in different countries, and in different departments of the company I found absolutely invaluable; it gave me a chance to get to know the company from the inside and have an idea of what my colleagues would be like.
