I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in Oct 2017
Interview
5 stages: 1) Telephone interview with HR - find out about you and who they are. What type of skills you have, what type of work they want etc. 15mins Very easy. 2) HR interview in person - 1 hour, same as above but goes into more detail about CV. Lots of questions about previous management and training. Asked about your CV again. 3) Tech Lead interview - Lots more detail about current work and what you’re interested in, ambitions etc. Lots of detail in CV. 4) In person case study where I was asked about the first stages of a Digital Transformation, no questions on CV. 5) Partner interview - straight forward, more casual, why, who, what etc. Nothing too difficult.
Just know yourself and what you want.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do during the first 10 weeks of a digital transformation? What would you deliver, who would be your key stakeholders, what would success look like and what would you do in the first 3 weeks.
Tell me about a time when you managed someone and they caused you a problem, same again but how someone has succeeded.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in Jun 2026
Interview
Highly structured three-stage experienced hire process with rapid commercial vetting.
The recruitment track at Capco was efficient, consisting of three sequential stages:
Screening Round: Initial 1-hour interview focused on core background matching and alignment with domain offerings.
Use Case Assessment: An in-person case study presentation lasting 90 minutes.
Final Managing Partner Round: A high-pressure, rapid-fire 30-minute discussion focused heavily on commercial value articulation, managing transformation delivery, and navigating technical or stakeholder legacy constraints.
The onboarding team transitioned very smoothly into the digital background vetting phase immediately following the verbal offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Describe your strategy experience in data or AI strategies in financial infrastructure environments."
"How do you handle a scenario where a transformation deployment faces active pushback from a client's legacy team?"
"Walk me through a previous data project where you personally managed the execution roadmap, design requirements, and risk boundaries."
It started with a 30-minute session with the HR, then a 1-hour technical interview, and finally a 45-minute face-to-face interview at the Capco office.
Overall I had a really positive experience. The whole process took about 1 month.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in May 2026
Interview
I applied for a permanent position. First I had a phone call with Capco recruitment followed by a virtual coding exercise, this was algorithmic based and not too obscure and finally I had an on-site behavioural interview with the MP. The staff were very friendly.
