I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capco (New York, NY) in May 2012
Interview
Called me in for an interview day - it consisted of a phone review by the lead HR recruiter and a whole morning of interviews. I met with at least 5 different Principal consultants, and was asked many questions about my current work, ability to work with others, etc. No technical questions at all whatsoever, and when I posed some myself I felt that I didn't get a satisfactory answer myself.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you think you would work in a group that has people with different opinions
It started with a 30 minutes session with the HR, then a 1hr technical interview and finally a 45 minutes face 2 face interview at the Capco office.
Overall I had a really positive experience. The whole process took about 1 month and the technical interview was focused on what actually matters for the role, with no trick questions or curveballs. I especially enjoyed the face-to-face interview because it didn't feel like a typical interview. It was more like a relaxed technical and behavioural conversation you'd have with a colleague, which made it easy to be myself.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in May 2026
Interview
I applied for a permanent position. First I had a phone call with Capco recruitment followed by a virtual coding exercise, this was algorithmic based and not too obscure and finally I had an on-site behavioural interview with the MP. The staff were very friendly.
