I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capco (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Jan 2018
Interview
The interview comprised 4 stages: an HR style interview, an interview by a member of the business, a presentation to a member of the business, and a telephone interview with a Partner.
The stages themselves were quite informal and made what is usually a stressful process a lot more comfortable. The questions asked were not too challenging, so no-one was trying to catch you out, rather just get a feel for your level of skills and experience.
One thing that stood out was being able to get a feel for the culture at Capco, i.e. dynamic, forward thinking, and invested in people. These points gave me real comfort that this was a company that I wanted to join.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in Jun 2026
Interview
Highly structured three-stage experienced hire process with rapid commercial vetting.
The recruitment track at Capco was efficient, consisting of three sequential stages:
Screening Round: Initial 1-hour interview focused on core background matching and alignment with domain offerings.
Use Case Assessment: An in-person case study presentation lasting 90 minutes.
Final Managing Partner Round: A high-pressure, rapid-fire 30-minute discussion focused heavily on commercial value articulation, managing transformation delivery, and navigating technical or stakeholder legacy constraints.
The onboarding team transitioned very smoothly into the digital background vetting phase immediately following the verbal offer.

Question 1
"Describe your strategy experience in data or AI strategies in financial infrastructure environments."
"How do you handle a scenario where a transformation deployment faces active pushback from a client's legacy team?"
"Walk me through a previous data project where you personally managed the execution roadmap, design requirements, and risk boundaries."
It started with a 30-minute session with the HR, then a 1-hour technical interview, and finally a 45-minute face-to-face interview at the Capco office.
Overall I had a really positive experience. The whole process took about 1 month.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in May 2026
Interview
I applied for a permanent position. First I had a phone call with Capco recruitment followed by a virtual coding exercise, this was algorithmic based and not too obscure and finally I had an on-site behavioural interview with the MP. The staff were very friendly.
