Application
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Capco (Zürich) in Jul 2018
Interview
First of all I had a meeting with one of the partners so we can have a feeling to each other. When we both confirmed to continue the process, I had two interviews with Principal Consultants if I fit within this level. In the end I had to present myself and my business case in front of the partners. After reviewing the presentation the partners asked me how I would position myself or what is my main added value which I bring to Capco. Therein a really good discussion started.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you fit into the Capco?
Why did you apply for this position?
Why are you a suitable candidate for this position?
Why do you want to work in Consulting?
The process started with an initial recruiter conversation, followed by technical interviews covering coding, system design, and architecture. The final round was with senior leadership and focused on consulting skills, communication, stakeholder management, and previous project experience. The interviewers were professional and approachable, and the discussions felt conversational rather than interrogative. There was a slight delay in scheduling the final interview, but communication throughout the process was clear.
I've gone through four interview stages, a personality test, which I always find a bit awkward, had to submit a portfolio of projects Ive worked on, and prepare a deck and deliver a 15-min presentation to the partners
I applied through other source. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Capco (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Apr 2026
Interview
I had several meetings with different leaders. Some interviews felt transactional while others created real connection. I'd describe it as very conversational where the questions come up in a more natural way. I did a "case" and prepared a presentation for the partner team.
