On 1st week of May, I received call from capgemini HR for the Test management role in Pune hinjewadi phase 3. On call, HR informed me that roles and responsibilities will be testing, test management in jira and zephyr tool. HR sent me JIRA Admin roles and responsibilities job description which includes authentication and configuration of Jira, upgradation and migration of jira . I informed HR that JD does not match as per senior QA but they said technical panel reviewed your profile and approved for interview. Before going to interview, I confirmed twice regarding roles and responsibilities but HR assured me that it is for testing role only. When I went to interview, before starting with interview, technical panel asked me the primary skills and told me that the opening is for JIRA Admin not for QA. There is some confusion from HR team. Interview got cancelled. When I called back to HR, they said another member from HR team shortlisted your CV. HR not even apologiesed for this. I spent almost half day in this process. Advice to HR: Please keep in mind if someone is coming for interview they are keeping aside important work, spending their valuable time, money. Before calling for interview, carefully review the CV. Also, improve your interview process experience as I was waiting for interview offer letter for 45 mins at reception. Pathetic process!
