I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capgemini in Feb 2024
Interview
i appeared for 2 technical round of interviews and one English assessment test and successfully completed all rounds of interview. we negotiated salary as well and agreed upon a certain figure over phone call. and later for background verification I shared my 2 years salary slips. HR also asked me to share banks statement for 2 years , which I submitted timely. HR and BGV team again setup teams meeting with me and instructed me to download bank statement in front of them by screen sharing. I followed their instructions and again sent them my complete bank statement. later I had call with HR , he said salary verification has been done. and I asked him to issue offer letter, then he did not respond to me . i sent several emails for follow up and even called and texted him, but he did not respond to me. One day he said hiring has been freezed. I asked him to send me email confirmation about whatever is happening to assure me that as I have cleared all interviews and verification process, So I should be the first one to be considered for position. He did not respond to me after that even I sent him email. yesterday I again requested him to send me formal communication as all communication was majorly been done through informal means either on call or whastapp. He became anxious and responded to me in aggrieved manner that we don't want to continue with you without giving any reason. then later in next hour he sent me an email for not continuing with me due to unavoidable reasons. I don't understand where I'm wrong, I qualified all interviews and verification process, I was just expecting a proper response and joining letter. This unprofessional attitude from Capgemini HR is really hurting. As a candidate I was concerned as In spite of clearing all interview and verification honestly and sharing my confidential details like whole 2 year bank statement, I faced such bad situation without my fault.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
for FP&A interview, I was asked about budgeting process, forecasting , variance analysis, MIS
It was one technical and one HR round. First round was detailed technical questions. HR round was mostly about salary discussion and start date etc. Overall it was a good experience. HR was so supportive and nice to respond.
Interview process involved 3 rounds where First round was with technical experts and reporting manager. In first round mostly technical questions were asked. For me it was more of interactive session as I was already working in the same field. Then in 2nd round, I got an assessment to be completed within a time frame. And in last round, it was with hiring manager which was also interactive session. Whole process was very smooth and took very less time.
