Capital Bank (Maryland) interviews FAQs
The hiring process at Capital Bank (Maryland) takes an average of 12 days when considering 3 user submitted interviews across all job titles. To compare, the average duration of hiring at similar companies like BlackRock, Inc. is 14 days, Fabricated Software, Inc. is 2 days, and Apple Inc. is 21 days. Candidates applying for Banker had the quickest hiring process (on average 2 days), whereas VP of Marketing roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 21 days).
Deceptive recruiting practices include posting every role as hybrid and then specifying 5 days in office in office I'm already in an interview. Doesn't know exactly what the role entails and made me go through the full application online to be invasive over my address. Not even for the application process. I was then ghosted before the second interview. I have ceased dealing with the business as a consumer as well.

Question 1
We've never had this role before and I'm not sure what it entails but can you submit compliance reports?
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Capital Bank (Maryland) (Washington, DC) in Jul 2023
Interview
Had the most amazing initial interview with HR followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager who seemed to be flying by the bottom of his seat. Hiring manager was clueless about banking products. Despite sending a follow up message to HR they just ghosted me. Why would anyone want to work for a company that treats potential employees that way during the interview process. It’s just rude and unprofessional.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Bank (Maryland)
Interview
The interview was set up by the company recruiter, then I spoke to the hiring manager by phone audio only, then a second interview with three other vice presidents with whom the role would collaborate.

Question 1
The hiring manager just spoke a lot about her vision. Two of the three VPs made the interview conversational and asked standard questions. One VP made it into an interrogation and repeated asked for examples of results and past successes. He admitted he had only been there 7 months and ended the interview by bluntly asking, "Why do you want this job" and when I answered him, he rebutted my response.
