I applied online. I interviewed at Capital Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
I applied to a role online in mid-October and received a response from a recruiter about a week or so later to do a screening call. I was delighted they got back to so quickly and I started to progress through the process relatively quickly.
Through November and December, I participated in SEVEN rounds of interviews, each about 30 mins-1 hour each and from what I could tell, they all went very well. After the last round, they totally ghosted me, I never heard from anyone again.
Overall, I felt all seven of the interviews went really well and I was a solid match for the position. I was very excited about the company and the role but I'm still baffled and disappointed that after I invested so much time and energy, they just never responded to me again.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital Group (London, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
Submitted CV, spoke with a recruiter on the phone and attended a 2v1 interview [VC]. Overall, the experience left me feeling underwhelmed, both interviewers came across as unfriendly and curt. They were not welcoming at all which didn't bode well as they were to be my direct managers. Bullet dodged!
