Interview
Applied online. Talked to Recruiter. Took online timed assessments (Experience and Style Inventory; Numeric & Verbal Reasoning Assessment).Talked to Hiring Manager. Came in for PowerDay interviews (2 Job Fit - how current position will translate to new, what you want to do, etc; 2 Behavioral Fit with 3 questions each lasting ten minutes per question - Tell me about a time when you...., etc. answer in STAR format; 1 Case Study Interview).
BE PREPARED. You need to utilize the resources that the Recruiter provides you with. If you do, and have confidence, you'll do fine.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to deal with an analyitical or technical difficulty?
Case Study: IGiven a scenario where data is transmitted to a provider and they match a certain percentage of the data whenthey sent it back. You're given the cost to send each transaction and the percentage that can be matched for each. They then give you the total percent savings per matched transaction and the dollar value saved. Involved solving for...
1 - Unit Cost savings for each (2) provider. Which provider would you use?
2 - Total number of transactions that could be processed for each given a budget. You then have to find the total cost savings using that and the other information.
3 - Plot the total transactions and total cost savings for each on a graph. Find the ideal number to produce (where the two intersect). Use the slope formula. Use rise/run.
4 - Interpret that number. If the number was higher than that which provider would you use? If it was lower?
Tell me about a time you were able to successfully deal with another person even when that individual may not have personally liked you (or vice versa)

I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One (San Antonio, TX) in May 2022
Interview
4 rounds of interview, get offer letter, pass bckground check, sends computer, then changed thier mind and rerout the computer without my notice while I struggle to find out what must have gone wrong. Annoying
Fine, it was an easy process to navigate but I didn’t get an offer unfortunately I think the interviewers were not paying attention when they talked to me. I definitely would not recommend talking with them.
