I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capital One (Washington, DC) in Oct 2016
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. I was asked a series of questions regarding my background and was asked to submit a copy of my resume. After that, a phone interview was scheduled, which I was told would be a quick 15 minute intro with a few general knowledge questions and no coding. As it turned out, the recruiter knew nothing about the company's interview process. The interview was done over the phone and I logged into a website where I was to enter code.

Your salary is determined by these individuals in the 4 hour meeting, NOT by your experience.
No opportunity to learn about the culture or if you even feel the position is a fit. They feel that it's an honor just to interview with them; tells me all I need to know about the culture.
