Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic “tell me a time when” for behavioral interviews. Tech screen was regarding the industry, person interviewing was very smart and wasn’t looking for architect type knowledge for a people leader role. Case study was straight forward - make sure you’re interacting with the person as its not just about getting the right answer but how you get there.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2017
Interview
1) Contacted by recruiter. 2) Phone screen by recruiter. 3) Phone interview with a manager. 4) Turned down because I was perceived as not technical, although I have extensive technical experience and my resume elaborates on it. Not a single technical question was asked. My perception was that there was a bias against women in IT, particularly non-Asian women.
